Individual Counselling
Our Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) provide effective individual counselling and welcome all mental health challenges and counselling needs. We are here to provide an empathetic and safe space to discuss all points of frustration, stress, or sadness in your life. Our team varies in specializations and therapeutic styles, with each counsellor bringing a unique set of tools and experiences to your sessions. Our RCC's take on a client-centred approach and are here to support you with whatever challenges you want to bring to therapy.
Relationship / Couples Counselling
Our Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) provide effective relationship counselling and welcome all stages and types of relationships. Our counsellors are well-versed in managing the various different types of conflicts that can arise when emotional conversations need to be had in a therapeutic setting. Whether it be to help with communication, create understanding, or continue maintaining the relationship, our clinicians are here to help!
Family Counselling (3+ people)
Our Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) provide effective family counselling and welcome all configurations of family units. Our clinicians are incredibly comfortable with holding space for meaningful, and sometimes quite difficult, conversations in the therapy room. Each counsellor brings their own unique approach to help you and your family understand and work through the different dynamics that being in a family bring.
Youth Counselling (10-18y)
Our team of expert youth therapists support clients in adolescence (ages 10-18) with their mental health using a variety of evidence-based techniques. Our youth counsellors specialize in offering a non-judgmental, collaborative, and safe space to discuss a wide range of mental health challenges. These sessions often include talk therapy and may also include play therapy with different mediums such as art, sensory items, sand tray, or movement. The goal of youth counselling is to have the counsellor and client connect in a meaningful and authentic way, where the client will feel heard, validated, and prioritized in terms of desired outcomes for therapy.
Child Counselling (2-9y)
Our team of expert child therapists support your child (ages 2-9) with their mental health using a variety of evidence-based techniques. These sessions may include play therapy with resources such as art, toys, sensory play, music and movement, sand tray, reading, and talk therapy. During a child counselling session, the goal is to have the child connect with the therapist in an authentic and meaningful way, where parents are encouraged to have the child attend the session on their own. Our child therapists specialize in a wide range of developmental needs and will create a plan to support your child with coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to help alleviate any mental health challenges.
Counselling with a Senior Counsellor
Senior registered clinical counsellors offer specialized care and a high level of support due to their extensive knowledge across diverse clinical settings. This group of clinicians possesses immense skill in integrating therapeutic approaches, experience leading a variety of therapeutic groups, and displays an active commitment to engaging in continuing education and expanding their clinical toolbelt. Recognized for exemplary performance and growth, these clinicians have been promoted to their senior roles, where they not only provide transformative care but also extend their expertise through clinical supervision to our team members and other therapists in the community.

At Skylark, our Clinical Directors (RCC's) are recognized for their commitment to continuous learning and their extensive experience in a wide range of therapeutic approaches. With their deep understanding of all mental health concerns, our Clinical Directors provide specialized care with extensive training in several evidence-based therapies. Our Clinical Directors are solution focused and work to establish immediate rapport to guide clients towards personal growth and healing in individual, relationship, and family counselling.
